This one is going to be a little short, since I don’t feel like giving you a history lesson on where I live and would rather show you through images! I currently live in Ottawa, the capital city of Canada which resides in the province of Ontario. We get all the joys of every season: humid and dry summers (don’t ask), pressure headache filled spring and falls, and a crazy amount of snow with a horrendous amount of coldness added to the mixture.
Do I love it here? Yes, yes I do. It’s beautiful with always something to do and see. With the big celebration of Canada’s 150th Birthday this year, it’s going to be even more exciting! You can skate on the canal in the winter, smell the flowers during Tulip festival in the spring, go to fun concerts like Blue’s Fest in the summer, and do so many lovely nature walks in the fall. Honestly, this place should be on your bucket list of places to see.
Ottawa’s Winterlude Festival and skating on the Rideau Canal!
The Tulip Festival
Gatineau Hills (technically in Quebec…)
Me running along the Canal (yes…I work out)
