Hello beautiful people!
Thank you Patty @ Moohnshine’s Corner for nominating me for the Liebster Award! You have been a wonderful person to meet in the book blogging community, as you always express kind thoughts and present amazing posts on your blog! You make me feel so welcomed, which I truly appreciate! I’m pretty certain a number of you have already been to her blog, but if you haven’t then you should do so!
Here is some information about the Liebster Award from Norin’s own Liebster’s Award Post, which she, in turn, excerpted from Mischenko@ReadRantRock&Roll post, who originally nominated Norin for the Liebster!

Patty’s Questions for Me
One. Who is your favorite author and why?
Most likely Kelley Armstrong. I love her writing style for both YA and Adult literature; she’s able paint the setting in your mind and truly draw readers into the pages of the novel. I think she’s a really underrated author, which is a shame because she’s so talented!
Two. Do you have a bucket list? What is one thing that you want to do if you had/have a bucket list?
I do but I’ve been wanting to update it! There are so many things that I want to do…my top two are to swim under a waterfall in a tropical place and to save a life.
Three. What is one book or series that you would like to see become a movie/tv show?
As long as it was done true to the novel and done well, I would love to have Kelley Armstrong’s Darkest Powers turned into either a television show or a movie series!
Four. What is something that you are extremely passionate about? Why?
Probably books ha-ha. It’s a borderline addiction, I kid you not. My roommate thinks it’s lots of fun to watch my reaction when we enter anywhere with books. I just love literature; I love the adventures you get to go on without actually travelling. I also love the meaning behind books and the stories they tell. Historical nonfiction is also wonderful for it reminds us to not forget the past.
Adventuring would be another passion – hiking, walking paths, exploring new places. From my knowledge, we live one life. I don’t want to live with regrets of not exploring the world and what it has to offer.
Five. Who is your favorite charitable actor/actress? Why?
Leonardo DiCaprio! He’s so humble and kind…at least from the tabloids ha-ha! Not only is he an amazing actor, he truly cares for the planet and those who inhabit it. Even during his speech for winning an Oscar (finally!), he made a point to remark on how we are neglecting our planet.
He’s also a big advocate for caring for those who are less fortunate than we are. Leo is a great role model.
Six. What is a song stuck in your head today?
Biased, since I’m listening to Gabrielle Aplin. It was Start of Time by Gabrielle Aplin but earlier it was It’s Raining Men since it’s raining out right now ha-ha!
Seven. What inspired you to start your blog?
I wanted to find a purpose beyond myself when it came to reading, and I reason to begin reading more frequently again. I lost it during undergrad and masters, so I’m thankful that this blog and you lot have been a big influence to begin again.
I also wanted to create a safe place for people to say what’s on their mind and comment on their own favourite books. Reading is a beautiful thing, especially when we share our experiences together.
Eight. For fun: If there was a zombie apocalypse, what is the item you would be sure to pack with you besides food?
…I would totally be that person that packed my favourite book. I need SOMETHING to do when I finally find a place to lay low and is safe from the zombies…
Nine. Camping or Hotel?
CAMPING! I love camping! It sucks because I haven’t gone in a long time, but it’s so much more fun than a hotel. Roasting marshmellows, sleeping under the stars, listening to the critters, bonfires, swimming, kayaking…what’s not to love!
Ten. Favourite reading spot?
I can’t go to my favourite reading spot anymore. It was in high school. I really loved reading in the school library; there was a back room that was circular and had shelves full of books that surrounded you. I felt so safe and secure when I was in my little safe haven.
Now, probably under a big weeping willow tree or near water or on my bed!
Eleven. What is the most anticipated book of the year for you?
It was King’s Cage. I was dying to know what happened to Mare and her comrades! It took a lot of patience for me to wait for that book to come out ha-ha.
