Finally! I can officially say I’ve caught up on the book tags I’ve been tagged in for a while now. Thank you Tyr for tagging me in this really interesting book tag; I can’t wait to see what my fictional family will be like. Tyr is the owner of the blog The Perks of Being a Nerd, a fantastic blog full of fun tags and insightful reviews! Please go visit this blog!
The creator of this book tag is Marrill over at Books and Ravens.
- Pick 8 books off your shelves (try to not pick just your favorites 😉).
- Arrange them into a random order (randomizers are good for this).
- In the order they are arranged, open them to a random page and write down the first name you see. Don’t mix up the names!
- In the last book, find the name of an animal\pet and write it down.
- Put the names in the right category.
- Tag people (spread the love) copy and paste these rules in your post, or write them out yourself.
- OPTIONAL: tag the creator. You don’t have to, but she would love to see people do this tag!

NEWT SCAMANDER FROM FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM
Ummm…this is the coolest choice ever! Seriously, Newt’s an amazing character and would be a phenomenal father! That letter to Hogwart’s better be coming!
ISABELLE LIGHTWOOD FROM CITY OF BONES
Well, my “fictional” life must be epic: a warlock father and a shadowhunter mother. With Isabelle as a mother, I’m pretty sure I’ll know how to fend for myself REAL quick with her teaching me her epic fighting skills…so cool.
DELILAH LEGERE FROM FOOLISH HEARTS
Oh, I love Del in Foolish Hearts! She’s independent and free-thinking, two things I think are such wonderful traits to have. Honestly, her cool and calm vibe are things that would work rather well for me.
BRAM GREENFELD FROM SIMON VS. THE HOMO SAPIENS AGENDA
Bram is such a sweetie! Again, another sibling with a calm and cool demeanor…I feel as though the “craziest” person in my family so far is my dad (but in that lovable way). I feel as though I will get along rather well with both of my siblings as this point.
COLE FROM IN THE AFTERLIGHT
Epic…absolutely fantastic. Cole’s one of my favourite characters in Bracken’s trilogy. He’s loyal and caring, a leader figure no matter how stressful the situation can get.
SHADE BARROW FROM GLASS SWORD
Oh yes…I have ABSOLUTELY NO COMPLAINTS WHATSOEVER! Shade’s caring, funny, loyal, intelligent, and simply a one-in-a-million kind of guy…you know, those guys that only exist in literature? Yup…just my luck. Well, at least I’m with a guy like Shade in my fictional life!
MONTY MONTAGUE FROM THE GENTLEMAN’S GUIDE TO VICE AND VIRTUE
Ha-ha!!! Oh Monty, the trouble we’ll get into. I can already see all the shenanigans to happen. Jokes aside, I think Monty would be a wonderful friend – especially if he’s the Monty that’s at the end of the book, with his personal growth and whatnot.
BALOO FROM THE JUNGLE BOOKS
I feel as though Baloo would be a companion rather than a pet. Now, for those of you who haven’t read the books, Baloo’s actually a bad-ass. He’s rather smart and a fairly good fighter, not the goofy (yet still lovable) Baloo from the Disney version. If I end up getting caught in some tight situations, Baloo’s definitely going to be a helpful “pet” to have around.
TAG! YOU’RE IT!
THIS turned out MUCH better than the zombie book tag I posted last week – this fictional family is wonderful! I hope you enjoyed reading this post!
