OwlCrate January 2018 Unboxing: Fearsome Fairy Tales

Hello beautiful people!

Ha-ha…here I am, a month and a half later posting the January 2018 OwlCrate Box; you’d think I would’ve at LEAST posted the same month I received the box. Good news – I will have the February 2018 OwlCrate posted in a couples of days! I call that a moderate success!

The theme for January 2018 was Fearsome Fairy Tales…and I’m SO glad I purchased this box!

The items that come in the box are:

The wax melts…they smell TOO good! It makes me want to go to one of the local pastry shops nearby and by gingerbread cookies and loafs and more! I also find it a rather calming smell, perfect for a leisure day of reading. The ceramic burner that you use the wax melts with is stunning…gorgeous beyond belief! Even if you don’t want to use it as a burner, it’s perfect for decor. The print by Anne is very well done, though I probably won’t hang it up until it’s Fall; it doesn’t really suit my room right now.

I LOVE the pillowcase! Unfortunately, I need to go buy a bigger pillow for it, but that’s okay. It’s actually really soft too, though I don’t plan to use it for sleeping purposes. Though it’s more of a Fall/Winter theme…I think I will still use it as room decor. Authored Adornments bracelet is soft and dainty, something I think a lot of people would love to wear. The downside is that it’s too big, so I can’t wear it without it falling off. The charm comes off though, so I will still find a way to wear that!

The Cruel Prince by Holly Black is a YA fantasy novel about a girl who must risk everything in order to find her place, save her sister, and the fey folk. War and treachery and deception, Jude becomes intertwined in a battle of both bloodshed and words. Holly Black also signed the book and it comes with really pretty stickers, which is always a bonus!

Hopefully this was still insightful, even though this box has been available for a while now!

Did any of you receive this box? What are your thoughts?

Happy Reading!
