Hello beautiful people!
Wow…the last “52 Weeks of Gratitude” post…it’s been a year of this already?! That’s completely and utterly insane, but also so incredible and surreal!
I just want to quickly thank Laura Beth over at Hot Shot Headlines for convincing me to start this challenge and for all the wisdom she provided me when I first started blogging. She was one of the first people to reach out to me, and she made me feel very welcomed in the blogging community. So thank you again, for being such a warm and kind human being!
Also, thank you everyone for all the kind comments during these posts. It’s been such a positive experience, which is thanks to all of you beautiful humans!
The big question…
Did this challenge change me?
In some ways, I think it did. It allowed me to open up more, slowly acknowledging the fact that it’s okay to discuss topics that I may have never thought I could before.
In other ways, I think I was always rather grateful for many things…though this challenge made me realize how things that seem so small are actually HUGE things to be grateful for. Clean water, for instance; there are places where this isn’t possible. It may seem like just a natural thing to have, but it’s not.
Yup…I'm super cheesy and wrote on the Gratitude Wall… I'm a cool kid! I love this aspect of @rawpulpandgrind though! It's a super positive atmosphere! Hey @jennifergehan and @ronawaite … you jealous? #food #foodplace #vegan #veganfood #smoothiebowls #gratitude #wanderlust #funtimes #grateful #adventuretime #adventure #wander
This challenge opens your mind to see the bigger picture, in a way; I began to notice all the wonderful things in life that I have to be happy and grateful for, even when days are rough and gloomy. Simply thinking of a few minor things I’m happy for on the days that were hard made those times so much easier and joyful.
I don’t regret participating in this challenge whatsoever. It was such a phenomenal experience, one I think many people could benefit from!
That’s a wrap, friends! If you haven’t tried this challenge, I urge you to give it a go. It’s a very mind-opening experience and makes you feel super grateful for all the wonderful things life has to offer!
