Hello beautiful people!
Here’s to a “hopefully” warmer month with sunshine, flowers, and blue skies! I, for one, am tired of snow and cold — so I used warmer colours and lots of floral decor in this layout ha-ha! I hope you enjoy it!
Inspiration
For the the weekly layouts, I used a similar style that I found from Cristina’s Instagram my.life.in.a.bullet. The rest I just came up with randomly!
Resources
- Dual Brush Pen Set, 10 Pastel
- Limited Edition Dual Brush Pen Sets, Desert Flora
- Tombow Dual Brush Pen Set, 10-Pack, Portrait Colors
- Sakura 57454 Gelly Roll Classic Ass’t (05/08/10) 3pk Pen, White, Medium
- Tombow 66403 Mono Drawing Pen (3), 3-Pack, 3 Piece
- 4 Roll Black Masking Tape (Bronzing) (the black backgrounf with moons and stars)
- Tombow 62106 Adhesives Mono Permanent Adhesive Applicator
- Wrapping paper scraps
The colours I used specifically for this set up are 062, 158, 912, 942, and 993. For the Tombow Mono Drawing Pens, I used 01 and 03; for the little small details such as the flowers, I found 01 the best. For the White Gelly Roll pens, I used 05.
Changes & additional notes
I love having the habit trackers and the “focus” section on my weekly spreads, so I kept them for April as well. One thing I removed was the sleep tracker … I have no way of really tracking it, so I wasn’t really using it. I also added my monthly fitness schedule (tentative) in my layout — I really want to start getting back on track and this way, I can just bring my notebook with me to the gym to know what to do.
The blog tracker page was a total success in March; honestly, it helped me layout my posts for the month so easily! If you lot don’t even want to do a BuJo notebook, I would highly recommend something like this to keep track of your posts! I also loved using it to track my reading schedule, especially since I’ve been receiving more ARCs than normal this year.
I decided not to filter so much for these photos. I literally just used natural lighting, and then put the photos in Afterlight to up the brightness (+50) and the clarity (+15).
Fun trick BTW: I accidentally made a mistake with the week numbers, so I used some scrap paper to cover the mistake and doodled on top of it.

I always leave one blank page, just in case I end up needing it for expenses. If not, it’s a fun doodle page!
I love it! Your flower doodles are absolutely gorgeous 😍

I wish I had the time to do a bullet journal like that, I’m also sadly too much of a perfectionist and anxious to risk it, do you find that you use your journal everyday?

I do tend to use it on a daily basis, but I definitely didn’t when I first started. My advice? Just go for it! Start with a cheaper BuJo notebook at first and just try a simple layout. Then as you feel more comfortable, you can try bigger layouts with more doodles and such 😀

ooh I think I’ll try it out next year cause I already have a diary I’m so dependent on from Kikki. K, thanks for the tip and the inspiration though ❤
