Auto-Approved

|| Who’s One Author Whose Books You Automatically Want to Read, regardless of What They Are About? ||

Emma Mills ↠ Thank you Marija @ Inside My Library Mind for getting me into Mills’ books! Her novels are so lovely and light-hearted, yet address some PRETTY big issues! I find that no matter what, I still end up enjoying her books.

Request

|| What Makes You Want to Request a Book on NetGalley? ||

There are definitely a few things on my checklist when it comes to requesting a book on NetGalley:

↠ Author: Though I try to expand my horizons, there are some books by authors that I HAVE to request!
↠ Reviews & Popularity: When a few of you people a review book and really get excited about it, I get real excited and it makes me want to request the novel! Also … if it’s popular AND seems to have high reviews, I may decide to request it as well.
↠ Synopsis: I’ve been getting a lot better at checking the synopsis instead of JUST the cover … the covers have made me request books that I REALLY didn’t end up enjoying ha-ha!

I would say cover but because they don’t really send physical copies (that I know of), I don’t care for this as much ha-ha!

Feedback Ratio

|| Do You Review Every Book You Read? If Not, How Do You Decide What Books to Review? ||

Ummmmmm … well??? Mostly??? It’s complicated. I review most books I read with the exception of manga and comics. I will write mini reviews on Goodreads for them (sometimes), but I just have a hard time reviewing those for some reason. That’s okay though. It gives me time to review everything else!

Badges

|| If You Could Create One Badge to Display on Your Blog, What Would It Be for? ||

Ooooo … I’m copying Alex on this one ha-ha! I would love to have a badge showing the number of reviews I’ve done. Then I could track them every year! It would be so much fun!

Wish for It

Lucky Caller by Emma Mills ↠ I can’t help it — I just love her works so much! They just make me so happy and cheerful, even with the sadder topics discussed. It already has SUPER high ratings from the few lucky people who’ve had the chance to read and review this ahead of the release date! I CAN’T WAIT!

2019 NetGalley Challenge

The Infinite Noise by Lauren Shippen ↠ Technically, I’ve received other ARCs after this but I’m sticking with books I’ve received via NetGalley. This was an adorable novel, a SOLID four cups of tea rating. I can’t wait to read the next books to come in this series!

  1. Thanks for tagging me! I’ve never requested anything from NetGalley mainly because I’m horrible at reviewing so why would anyone give me an Arc 😂 but I’ve definitely looked at the site before. Maybe I should just give it a try. I’m planning on doing more reviews again. Anyways I think it’s still a fun tag to do so thanks again! 😁

  2. I really need to read an Emma Mills book. They’ve been sitting on my tbr list for years and I’ve still not picked a single one up, despite the fact that I know I’m likely to love them.

  3. You always make me all soppy and emotional with your intros! Thank you so much ❤

I haven't read anything by Emma Mills.. But I just checked her books on Goodreads and there are some that I'm interested in. I've been seeing a lot of people reading / revieweing her «Famous in a Small Town».

When I'm purposefully searching for a book on NetGalley (which is VERY rare 😀 ) it's usually because of an upcoming novel from my fav author. Otherwise, the covers are the first thing that gets my attention, ahaha 😀

Yeah, agree about mangas and comics. I also find it difficutl to review children's books and sometimes middle grade. I recently read «Coraline» by Neil Gaiman and I'm kinda struggling to review it.

Reviews are probably 60% of all of my posts, maybe even more. I'd love to know that figure. I'm kinda lazy to do the math though. Ahaha

    1. Aweeee! Thank you for being such an incredible friend!!! My favourite by her is still Foolish Hearts 😍

Haha!!! Since I don’t get the physical copies, I tend to not focus on those as much. But some definitely catch my eye!

Children’s books are hit or miss reviewing wise for me. I used to really enjoy reviewing them but I don’t as much now haha.

Yes … I’d love to know. Especially since I want to focus more on reviews and less on other posts haha!
