The Prediction Book Tag || Tags & Awards

Hello beautiful people!

Okay … this is just a really cool concept for a book tag! Seriously, I love how creative all you amazing bloggers are — because that means I get to do more book tags!

Thank you so much Siren @ Sweaters & Raindrops and Norees @ NoReadsTooGreat for tagging me in The Prediction Book Tag! It’s like you both KNOW how much I love to do book tags ha-ha! Both of these lovely bloggers have amazing sites and a great vibe about them — they’re welcoming, delightful and provide such a wealth to the blogging community. So make sure to visit them!

The Creator & the Rules

The creators of this tag are Mandy and Sha @ Book Princess Reviews! If you DON’T know them yet (which … who doesn’t at this point), you REALLY need to amend this and visit their site — DISNEY PRINCESS RATING STYLE? YES PLEASE!

Now — back to the rules ha-ha!

Next Read

Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco

Currently, I’m reading Stalking Jack the Ripper as a buddy read with a fellow Ottawa Bookstagrammer — though it doesn’t have as much action as I’d like, it’s still intriguing. I’m still hooked enough that I want to give the second book a try, especially since people seem to enjoy the series more and more as they read on!

Next 5 Star Read

Pax by Sara Pennypacker

I seriously have HIGH hopes for this book — and I blame you ALL if I don’t like it — just kidding! Seriously though, I’ve heard ALL GOOD AND WONDERFUL THINGS about this book, and I haven’t read a really good children’s book in SUCH a long time! For some reason, I have a really good feeling about this story.

Next 1 Star Read

… none? I don’t really go into a book thinking it’s going to be anything less than a 3 star rating — or I wouldn’t bother picking it up in the first place ha-ha! I have only so much precious time to read!!

Next Love Interest (or Character that Seems Really Cool to You)

The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern

After reading the synopsis, I feel like I’m REALLY going to like all three of the characters mentioned. And from what EVERYONE has been saying, this seems like it’s just going to be a great book in general! A character named Mirabel is mentioned in the synopsis on Goodreads, and she already seems like someone I’m going to REALLY love ha-ha! I guess I’ll know soon, since I plan to read this either March or April!

Next Book You’ll Be Buying

Wild at Heart by K.A. Tucker

I’ve only read two chapters of The Simple Wild, and I already know I’m going to love it. Since I knew the sequel was releasing soon, I wanted to wait until I knew I’d be able to run out and buy the second right after finishing the first. And the covers of these?! I’M IN LOVE! They’re so indie and “hipster” style … both must be on my bookshelves!

Next Book That Will Leave You with a Book Hangover (and Desperately Wanting a Reread or Next in Series)

Time of Our Lives by Emily Wibberley & Austin Siegemund-Broka

When I read Emily and Austin’s If I’m Being Honest, I had SUCH a book hangover afterwards — all I wanted to do was re-read the book over and over since I loved it so much! So I have a PRETTY good feeling that (a) I’m going to love Time of Our Lives and (b) I’m going to have yet ANOTHER book hangover … guess I’ll just plan to read VERY little in May ha-ha!

Tag! You’re it!

I really liked that tag! Great work Mandy and Sha! As always, no pressure to participate:

  1. Ooohhh I love this idea! I feel like there’s so much I can’t predict about my future reads, but I have an uncanny ability to *spidey sense* when I’m about to develop my next fictional crush 😂Gah! I really really need to read Stalking Jack the Ripper – I feel like it’s the perfect Autumn/Winter read, so I guess there’s no time like the present since Australia is finally starting to get some gloomy weather! 😀

    1. It’s a really fun tag! You should do it if you haven’t yet! And I love that “spidey sense” reference ha-ha! Too cute. It’s pretty good! I like book two better, but I haven’t been in the mood to read it … going to try reading a contemporary … something light and fluffy ha-ha!
