Hello beautiful people!
Well now — I found a tag ALL ON MY OWN — that’s right, I’m SEEKING OUT TAGS BECAUSE I CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH … seriously, right now as I’m typing — it’s February 27 2020 — I have SO many book tags planned in advance yet I STILL am on the look out more for — it’s a bad addiction, I know.
But how could I pass up this epic tag, which was created by Mandy and Sha @ Book Princess Reviews! These two are SUCH lovely individuals, full of creativity and spunk — they’re honestly one of the top bloggers out there. So if you haven’t wandered over to their site, please make sure you do!

The Official Schedule
How do you determine what books you’re going to read next?
I’m one of THOSE people who has a WIDE variety of ways to help me choose what I’m reading next — which is WHY I tend to not have pre-planned monthly TBR posts — I’d never stick to it ha-ha! There are, however, some ways in which I help choose my next book or two when I’m close to being done one:
↠ Mood Reader 100: What am I in the mood for?
↠ Am I reading a series? Yes. Did I like it? Yes — get the next one!
↠ All the ARCs — gotta get on that!
↠ Buddy read time! Make sure to get on those specific books!
↠ #StartOnThatShelfathon — basically, try to pick a book a month off of that list
↠ Is it April or the summer yet? Because that means it’s the OWLs and NEWTs read-a-thon time!
ARC Drops
What ARC would you wait hours in line for?

Time of Our Lives by Emily Wibberley & Austin Siegemund-Broka
I don’t even care that I already pre-ordered this — if I found out I was going to be able to go to a Book Con or Book Expo or whichever as soon as possible, and this book was going to be available as an ARC — I’d wait in that line! No questions asked! By the time this posts, I’ll still have one month to wait to read it — WHICH IS TOO LONG!
The Swag!
What bookish merch/pre-order incentives/etc. is your favorite?
CANDLES! ALL THE FLIPPIN’ CANDLES IN THE WORLD! Especially since I’m running low — ugh! Book sleeves and bookmarks are also high on that list.
The Panels
What topic would you love to see some of your favorite authors talk about?
Hmmm — maybe their writing journey — how they got their books published. I know there’s information out there, but every author has a different story, so it’d be neat to see how they differ regarding getting their book out into the world.
I’d also love to see them talk about the need for representation, and how to write diverse books without EMPHASIZING on the fact that it’s diverse — making the whole thing feel natural rather than forced.
Yallfest, Yallwest, BookCon/BookExpo, YALC, Etc.
What book festival/con would you go to if you had the choice?
I have NEVER been to one, so I hope to simply go to any of them at some point ha-ha! I really want to do a 10 day trip to New York City, so probably Book Con or Book Expo — I think they’re typically hosted in NYC, so I could take a couple of days to do that AND still have plenty of time to explore other things! And a lot of people seem to REALLY LOVE both Book Con and Book Expo, which is a bonus.
Tag! You’re it!
Oooooo — that was so much fun ha-ha! Okay! Time of tag some peeps! As always, there’s absolutely NO pressure to participate!
↠ Siren @ Sweaters & Raindrops
↠ Jamie @ Bubbly Books
↠ Ashley @ Ashes Books & Bobs

Thanks for the tag! I always love a good tag from the Book Princess reviewers ☺️ Totally agree about candles; I love a good book inspired scented candle!

i never thought of meeting emma mills at a book fest, but i think i’d really love that too!! i also am a really big mood reader — i admire people who can set monthly tbrs and actually stick to them. (also, not completely related to the content of your post, but i admire you SO much for writing your posts so far in advance, i could only wish!!)

Oh my gosh …I know eh?! I used to try TBRs but unless it’s for a challenge … I can’t. I’m so moody with my reads ha-ha!
