Hello beautiful people!
As much as cleaning can be a hassle at times, I LOVE that feeling of a completely tidy and organized space … it’s just so refreshing! Every season, I do a declutter/donate/deep clean of the condo — so when I saw this tag pop up, I thought it was simply perfect to start off the month of May!

One. Getting started: A book series you’ve been wanting to read
So many people seem to be in-love with this series, but I didn’t want to start and not be able to binge finish the series. Now that all of the books are released though … I CAN TOTALLY START THIS SERIES! I’m currently on a book buying ban … since I spent WAY too much money on books in April … but I do have the first book so I think I’ll start soon and then order the rest if I enjoy it!
Two. Cleaning/organizing the closet: The best way to organize books
Well, I have two bookshelves and then a few on my TV stand. The ones on my bookshelves are by author (last name), and then by series (chronological). The ones on my TV stand have no order other than my height … I just like having some of my favourite spine covers on the TV stand as decor … he-he.
Three. Getting rid of unnecessary things: Book/series you no longer need
I just did a HUGE donation for books, so I can’t remember when ones I donated. Basically, I remove books that I either (a) don’t re-read and/or (b) don’t care for the covers as much. Yes … that latter one is a bit petty … BUT I ONLY HAVE SO MUCH ROOM!
Four. Get some air: Your favorite light-hearted read
Yes … I am ALWAYS using this book in book tags … I CAN’T HELP IT! That’s how much I fell in-love with this story and the characters in it! Cameron’s story is such a ride, full of ups and downs and laughable moments. Watching her go from this judgmental and blunt teenager to a more accepting and confident person just won me over. Part of me wishes the authors would write another book about her … even though I’m also happy with how the story ends.
Five. Clean out the kitchen cupboards: Favorite food-themed read
Funny enough … I don’t think I’ve ever read a book with a focus on food, other than some cookbooks I have.
Six. Dust the shelves: What’s the fifth book on your bookshelf?
As mentioned before, I have three different shelves … two bookshelves and then books on my TV stand. So I’m going to show the fifth book on each of those:
Seven. Wishing for the end: A 2020 release you’re really excited about
I’ve LITERALLY been waiting for a year for this book … when Goodreads showed an untitled book to be released by Emily and Austin in 2020, I seriously flipped out! And the DAY you could pre-order it … I did. I actually just got my copy the other day, so I’ve either already started or plan to shortly!
Eight. Long but satisfying: The longest book series you’ve read
This will probably remain my longest book series read for a LONG time … unless I finally get to the Wheel of Time series like I’ve been meaning to for AGES! Unfortunately, I’m not as into longer series anymore. But Harry Potter will always hold a special place in my heart. A reread is needed soon …
