Hello beautiful people! About a month or so ago, a wonderful bookstagrammer reached out to me in regards to a fun October 2020 read-a-thon challenge. Sam @ Turning the Page on Cancer created this amazing read-a-thon to help spread awareness on Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) and raise funds for researchers to find a cure.
After reading her story and getting to see what kind of incredible human being she is, there was simply no way I could say no to not participating and joining her team. Turning the Page on Cancer 2020 Read-a-Thon Information
According to the Turning the Page on Cancer Raise Funds Page:
“Turning the Page on Cancer is a fundraising initiative themed around a love of books, ending with an all-day readathon on October 25, 2020. The goal of these events are to bring about both awareness and funds in support of people living with Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC).”

The read-a-thon takes place Sunday, October 25th, 2020 from 9:00AM to 5:00PM (local time) for adults and 12:00PM to 2:00PM for children. The location? Literally anywhere you want (and are physically able to get to).
How to sign up:
- Sign up on this page to officially become a part of the team!
- Set a fundraising goal! (Minimum $25)
- Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for all #bookstagram and fundraiser related material!
- Sign the mBC Ally pledge to make things official!
- Choose some reads for the big day!
And you know what’s even COOLER? There are PRIZES! Prizes will be given out for:
