Hello beautiful people!
Every year, I “SAY” I’m going to read more nonfiction literature … and then I cave and end up reading maybe 2 nonfiction books (which TEND to be poetry). There’s nothing wrong with reading or not reading nonfiction, but I really want to start educating myself more through literature instead of Netflix and streaming formats.
Lucky for me, someone created a fun reading challenge on StoryGraph to keep me in check!
What is the 12 Months, 12 Nonfictions Challenge?
The creator of this challenge is Zuky @Zuky the BookBum , one of my cherished friends in the book community! Her blog and bookstagram are phenomenal, especially for lovers of mystery and thriller and horror literature! The 12 Months, 12 Nonfictions Reading Challenge is focused on readers reading ONE nonfiction book a month (minimum), start January 11, 2021 and ending December 31, 2021. That’s it! No specific guidelines or rules to follow … just read one nonfiction a month!
If you’re in the bookstagram community, make sure to us hashtag #12months12nonfictions on your posts so Zuky (and others) can take a look!
Are you participating in the 12 Months, 12 Nonfictions challenge? What are some nonfiction books you’d recommend?
