The Unique Blogger Award Number Three

Hello beautiful people!

Third times a charm — I’m officially “unique” (this was never a surprise, since I characterize myself as a rather “unique” individual…though it’s not necessarily a compliment when I say it to myself…he-he). Jokes aside, thank you so much Rebecca for nominating me! You’re such a sweetheart.

As per usual peeps, make sure to visit the blogger! Honestly, Rebecca’s Bookishly Rebecca blog is fantastic! I love the way she writes, since it feels really personal but still straight to the point in her reviews. She’s also just an incredible human being…so that’s a bonus in itself.

The Sunshine Blogger Award Number Three

Hello beautiful people!

Wow…this is now my THIRD nomination for the Sunshine Blogger Award…I feel pretty special.

Thank you so much Rebecca for the nomination! Rebecca and I started talking more this year, which I’m very grateful for. Rebecca, the owner of bookishlyrebecca (previously known as My Life as a Sports Fangirl), is a wonderful human being and blogger. She’s very kind, polite, fun, and has a real knack for blogging; it’s really no surprise that her blog has continued to skyrocket as it grows in popularity. If you haven’t introduced yourself to Rebecca and her blog, I highly suggest you get on over and do that.

Also, thank you everyone for all the kind comments during these posts. It’s been such a positive experience, which is thanks to all of you beautiful humans!

52 Weeks of Gratitude Challenge [Week Fifty]: Lessons Learned this Year

This past year has been a whirlwind of experiences; from wonderful and magical to heartbreaking and nerve-wrecking, my last year has been full of all kinds of challenges.

…I’m going to open up quite a bit, which feels weird…but you lot all seem like pretty nice people, so I think I can do it.

52 Weeks of Gratitude Challenge [Week Forty-Nine]: Things You Like About Winter

I have a love/hate relationship with Winter. One minute I feel like I’m part of a fairy tale…then comes the -30°C weather and I’m reminded that I live where the air hurts my face.

Even with this fact, there are still an abundance of things I enjoy about Winter!

52 Weeks of Gratitude Challenge [Week Forty-Eight]: Your Job

Hello beautiful booknerds!

Well, I’ve had a variety of interesting jobs. From receptionist to lifeguard, from reference librarian to map and data librarian, I’ve been lucky to gain knowledge in varying work professions. Through a Cooperative Education Program (co-op) and finishing my Masters in Library and Information Sciences, I was able to find a uniquely intriguing job that I NEVER would have thought about before…and I’m ever so glad I took the opportunity.

52 Weeks of Gratitude Challenge [Week Forty-Seven]: Opportunities You’ve Been Given

Hello lovelies!

The weather here…is nuts! Honestly, one day it’s -20°C and then it’s in the positives. The headaches have been brutal…

On a positive note though, moving to Ottawa and experiencing life here is one of the many opportunities I’ve been given in life; though I may complain every so often, it’s been a surreal adventure here.
