Hello beautiful people!
So … another delayed post … I’m so sorry, people! Honestly, January was a crazy month — and without getting too much into my personal life, I kind of needed a mini break from reading and blogging and all those other things. With stress and French training and fitting in fitness and having a social life … I really just haven’t had the time. But I feel like I’m slowly getting back on track!
I think this is actually one of my favourite spreads I’ve ever done! I love the pastel colours and the use of the stickers (which you will see shortly). For more zoomed in photos of each individual page, you can view my Instagram post!
I hope you all enjoy it!
So … to make life easier, I re-organized my Pinterest Bullet Journal Board so you can see where I find most of my inspirations! It’s not a book blog account or anything, just my personal Pinterest account. I’m also going to upload my own spreads to Pinterest as well … eventually. Not this time though.
Note: Sorry about the lighting of the photos — I think they’re actually more clear on Instagram. We’ve had LITERALLY little to no sunny days, so I haven’t been able to take proper photos.
Cover Page
I forget where I found this grid image idea, but I though it was the cutest thing ever! I tried to stick with pastel pinks and greens, since those are my colour themes for February. I would actually like to try this again at some point in the future … maybe for summer. The little cherry blossoms are stickers that my friend bought me a while ago! I absolutely adore them!
Editing Tips and Tricks: As I’ve mentioned before, I can’t draw a perfect circle to save my life. So I used a circle ruler to create the wreath. You can also use a cup, a candle or anything else circular!
Monthly Calendar
Yup … back to the stereotypical layout I’ve been using [ found @ journalbeanie ]. I honestly don’t like using two pages for a monthly spread — I see the perks, especially if you don’t use weekly spreads — but I really love this minimal style.
I really loved using the Goal, Future and Notes section last month — I almost forgot so many things so it’s been amazing! I decided to try it out again for this month — I have a feeling I will probably keep this.
Blog Tracker & Budget/Expense Tracker
Yup … I’ve been needing this … I really missed my blog tracker. One thing I noticed is that I SOMETIMES start a post and set a scheduled date to release … but I haven’t actually finished it (thank you for catching those a lot, Nikki @ The Night is Dark and Full of Books). So I think next month I’m going to update the Post Calendar to have a section that says “COMPLETE”, “ONGOING”, and “NOT STARTED”.
I’m still using Spendee … but showing the full amounts in this REALLY puts things into perspective … like the fact that I spent too much in January ha-ha! I actually have an Excel Sheet as well, where it shows how much I’ve gone over and I can track what areas I’m spending more in.
Weekly Spread
For the weekly spreads, I used inspiration from Kat Cuthbert’s Instagram account again: booksofnotes. I’ve been really enjoying it. I want to try something new for March, but I’m not quite sure yet how I want to lay it out.
The little rose doodles are super easy BTW! A few people have asked me how I did them so if you want, I can do a step by step tutorial through here or through IGTV.
Resources
As per usual, my go-to markers are the Tombow Dual Brush Pens. In this layout, I used: 158, 312, 772 and 942. The Tombow Mono Drawing Pen (no. 01) and the Sakura Pigma Micron Pen (no. 005) were used to draw everything.
And yes … I’m STILL using the Uni-ball Black Gel Pens to write in my journal throughout the month … still can’t find anything better, so why change up a good thing?
That’s a wrap! Please let me know if you have any suggestions or requests for next month! And if you’d like to see a certain theme in the future, comment below!
It looks gorgeous!

*blushing so much right now* ha-ha! Thank you! You’re so sweet! I think this is actually my favourite spread so far, which is funny because it has been one of the easiest ones I’ve done.

These are beautiful!!! Beginning of 2020 has been so busy and hectic, I hope it will slow down a bit in February, but considering how quickly the first seven days of this month passed I’m not very optimistic about it. Lol

Such a cute theme! I love the weekly layout you did. It looks very neat. 😍 And I’m glad I was able to catch some of those slightly unfinished posts for you. I don’t think I could count how many times that has happened to me too! 😂
